Dear brothers and sisters,
Last Saturday’s Outreach Gospel Day (20 June) was truly filled with God’s grace. The beautiful sunshine and pleasant weather allowed us to serve outdoors and experience God’s wonderful creation and loving care.
As we know, Australia’s weather changes quickly. Since Thursday (25 June), it has been rainy and cloudy, and the forecast says this will continue for the next ten days. Morning temperatures will drop below 10°C, and it may feel even colder with the wind. During this changing season, we especially remember parents with young children. Thank you for your loving care and daily sacrifices. May the Lord strengthen you and keep your family healthy.
Winter is also flu season in Sydney, especially during July and August. Please dress warmly when going out in the early morning or evening, and take good care of your health. We also remember everyone who faithfully joins our Dawn Prayer each morning. May the Lord cover you with His wings and bless you with good health and peace.
As we enter July, the school winter holidays will begin on 4 July. Thank God that the second term of our Online Learning Centre will also finish on 3 July, making the classrooms available for families in need. If you are looking for a safe, warm, and loving place for your children during the holidays, please feel free to contact our church staff. We are happy to help.
We are also excited that the GenTOL – Blessed to Bless the Nations Conference will be held by 611 Mother Church this year. Three young people from our church have already registered! The conference is open to secondary students, university students, young working adults, and anyone who desires to be blessed in the workplace. It will be led by our spiritual parents, Pastor Joshua and C-mo, together with workplace leaders. We believe that everyone who responds to God’s call will be greatly used by Him and become a blessing to the nations.
Please note that registration closes on 5 July. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity!
God bless you all.
On the flight back from Auckland to Sydney, I quietly reflected on our five‑day trip. My heart was full of thanks. Before I left, God had put a clear thought in my mind: this time I was not going as a pastor or counsellor, but as a “father.” I wanted to look at every family and every couple with a father’s eyes – to care for the wife as if she were a daughter not yet married, and to encourage the husband as a son who dares to chase his dreams. It was not a work visit; it was a journey to understand what it means to have a father’s heart.
When I set aside my sermons and teachings, and simply listened to them with a loving father’s attitude, something wonderful happened. Their faces became softer, and their words more open. When they talked about hard times in the world, they did not complain. Instead, they were thankful – because here they had experienced God’s healing and comfort. Their past pains were no longer just pains; they became marks of how God was shaping them as His precious children. I could see that broken hearts were being mended by love.
At one dinner, the hostess shared her life story. Her husband is simple, hard‑working, and reliable. They had lived on three continents and gone through many moves. But now she has learned to find joy in a simple life. She has truly become a “happy helper.” Everyone at the table nodded with warm approval. That silent support was more powerful than any applause.
Another sister admitted that she had been impulsive and wasteful of time in her youth. But when she let go of her stubborn ways, the families around her quickly came to help. Now she is full of confidence. She believes that, in time, her family will grow strong again like a “tree of life” in her own home. This was not just talk – I saw the change with my own eyes.
There was also a mature couple. They did everything in an orderly way and gave 100% to their family, yet neither felt satisfied. The husband was stubborn and preferred to do things his own way; the wife thought she had to put up with it. But through pastoral care, they learned to truly trust God and let go of their self‑binding. I know that this wife will become a “mother pearl” who nurtures many spiritual lives in their community.
These families had different stories and different wounds, but they were all found again in God’s love. Some received endurance, some courage, and some hope. They all had faced troubles in life. But God is just – He will defend the wronged, and those who deliberately do evil will face consequences. This is not passive waiting, but active trust.
Now I want to bless every family: husbands and wives, learn to focus your love on each other. You are each other’s treasure; we just need to do our part. When you do this, loneliness will fade and confusion will become clear. A shepherd knows his sheep’s voice. Dear children, being a child of God takes confidence – because you are heirs to His promises.
Thank God for the quiet and comfortable stay at Edmond and Winnie’s home during these five days. In that short time, I saw God’s loving presence everywhere in this universe. I also make up my mind to follow that heart and learn to be a good “church father.” May this fatherly warmth remain not only in Auckland, but also kindle in Sydney and in every family that longs to be found by love. Amen.
Dear brothers and sisters,
In recent days, have you noticed that God is speaking to us in different ways? In our morning devotions we are about to finish the last two chapters of Acts. Has your passion for sharing the gospel been stirred? In our Sunday service, the "Women Returning to Truth" series helps us become 360-degree hostesses of our home. What new insights have you gained? When we reviewed the key points of the "Pearl 2.0" conference at the New Moon gathering, did you think of someone who was like a "mother oyster" in your past? At the recent couples' retreat, has the flame of love for your spouse been rekindled? The outdoor evangelism on June 20th is still ahead. Are you already eager to share the good news with your friends?
This Sunday, we will begin the "Men Returning Home" series. As I meditated on all these things, I asked in my heart: What is God really trying to say to us? The answer becomes clearer. Two words come to my mind: "Mission" and "Calling."
"Mission" is universal. For example, the vision of our church (611) gives every congregation a basic goal and mission. When this mission enters different people, it produces different callings based on each person's current role, bringing different results. Although each person receives a different calling, we all move toward the same mission. In this way, our service becomes diverse and multi-dimensional.
However, we often have multiple roles at the same time. At such times, the most important thing is to respond with the right attitude according to the situation. We must recognize our current role clearly. If we get confused, even correct opinions may not achieve good results, and may even cause conflict. As Paul said in 1 Corinthians 9:22: "I have become all things to all people, so that by all possible means I might save some." He willingly became a servant to everyone, just to win more souls. The attitude of the apostle Paul is an example for us to follow today.
In our church, from the grandmother church in 2001 to the present "Tree Ring Administrative Structure" and "MG12 Discipleship Structure" (see "The Essence of the 611 Tree of Life DNA"), these are concrete examples of how God, after giving a mission, gave callings to different people at different times.
May you all live out your present calling under this year's theme, "Deep and Wide 2026." God's will for us will be revealed by the Holy Spirit to every believer who is willing to follow Him.

Dear brothers and sisters,
Soon after I returned to you, we received an invitation from our landlord to have a short meeting with our neighbour, LJ Hooker real estate agency. Their meeting room shares a wall with our classroom. When our students practise healing and deliverance and pray in tongues, the sounds made some of their staff feel a little strange. So they wanted to understand what we do. During their property auctions, they especially hope for a quieter environment. As neighbours, we should be thoughtful. We exchanged phone numbers so we can contact each other easily and cooperate. This made me think again: what does it mean to be a people-centred church?
It is winter in Sydney now. The sun sets around 5 pm, and the temperature quickly drops to 12–13°C in the evening, and to only 8–9°C or lower at night. C-Mo suggested that during this winter, we hold the monthly new moon prayer meeting on Zoom. This way, no one needs to travel to and from church in the cold weather. Each ministry should provide their prayer requests for the month as early as possible. The staff can prepare the slides early and then go home. We started the first online prayer meeting on 4 June. We saw everyone gathered in front of their screens, enjoying the pre-selected worship songs together, and giving thanks for how God worked in each of our lives over the past month — one after another. As we prayed for different ministries, we saw that behind each one, God has raised up suitable co-workers, our students, dedicated volunteers, and brothers and sisters. The ministries are growing with joy. The BB Mums’ Group can’t get enough of meeting together. The Honour Senior Ministry sincerely invites the elderly in our families, and the lunch after worship is full of laughter and good food. In Children’s Ministry, parents have become “Uncle” and “Auntie” to other children as well — a special bond. Our BBQ park outreach also puts people first. We are becoming bolder in using the recent life testimonies of “Favor 611” to make faith in Favor more real. We also hope that the couples’ day camp, held on a public holiday, will add sweetness and encouragement to your marriage, helping you grow in harmony and love.
May the Holy Spirit move freely among us, so that we all receive freedom — not suppressed, but set free.
Stella C-Mo
During this time, we take care of each other — two sick people helping each other. On one hand, we feel anxious because some ministry work has to be delayed. On the other hand, we get a bit emotional because of the sickness. Honestly, we also had some small conflicts. But through these interactions, God showed me my own weakness. I still thought I could handle everything by myself. But really, that is stubbornness and pride.
Now I understand more clearly: ministry is always teamwork. Even a growing ministry will challenge what is inside our hearts. But the purpose of ministry is always to build people’s lives and help them become trees of life. What we need for this is: taking responsibility, being kind and gentle, forgiving and tolerating, living truthfully, being brave and passionate, accepting ourselves, accepting others, loving and understanding, expressing honestly, staying emotionally steady, being patient and self-controlled, communicating well, and being free and creative. These are the core values of our church.
Recently in our Sunday messages, we talked about “women returning to what is right.” I think many of us have already done some self-reflection. So in the upcoming two-day “Tree of Life Couples Camp,” let us go a step further. Through honest sharing, let our relationships return to romantic moments. Let us learn together to refuse the temptation of the “Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil” — stop rushing to judge who is right or wrong, and instead treasure the person beside us.
During these two days, try to arrange for the children to be cared for, and focus on your marriage. I believe there will be surprises waiting for you.
Walking with you on the road of the Tree of Life,
Pastor Joe and Stella C-Mo
While C-Mo and I were away in Hong Kong, I want to thank our coworkers for leading morning devotions every day. We have been reading the Book of Acts together and have just finished 12 chapters I would like to share a short summary with you from a heart of grateful thanksgiving.
The early apostles shared the gospel without advanced education, high status, or religious authority. Yet they brought the gospel all the way from Jerusalem to the Gentiles. What made them special? They obeyed the Holy Spirit, were not afraid of persecution, gave generously, and gave all glory to God. Doesn't that deeply move you?
Today, we are blessed to be Christians. Looking back at the footsteps of the apostles, our hearts are filled not only with thanks but also with things to learn. I no longer rely on my own ability. In Acts, Peter and John were ordinary, uneducated men, yet they bravely testified about Jesus' resurrection. They healed a lame man not by their own goodness but "in the name of Jesus of Nazareth." I am reminded: I am a Christian today not because I am better than others, but because God gives grace freely. I don't need to earn salvation by my works. I only need to trust in Jesus. This undeserved grace makes me bow my head in thanks.
When I read about Stephen being stoned, he still looked up to heaven and saw God's glory. Peter was in prison, yet he could sleep peacefully in the presence of an angel. This peace did not come from the environment but from God. Today we live in a relatively free society. We may not face physical persecution, but we still face pressure, criticism, and loneliness. Yet the testimony of the apostles tells me: No matter what happens, the Lord is with me. He will save me from all fear, just as He saved Peter from Herod's hand.
The gospel has no boundaries, and this shows me my mission. What moves me most is that God broke down the wall between Jews and Gentiles. Peter used to preach only to Jews, but God told him through a vision: "Do not call anything impure that God has made clean." Cornelius and his whole family were saved, and the disciples were first called "Christians" in Antioch. I am a Gentile. I had nothing to do with Christ. But now by God's grace, I am a fellow heir and share in the promise. When I think about this, and about the Pearl 2.0 Conference — as a pearl that was once wrapped up — how can I not be thankful?
Brothers and sisters, do you want to be a channel of blessing? Barnabas generously sold his field and gave to the church. Philip obeyed the angel and went to the desert road. Ananias let go of his fear and laid hands on Saul. They were ordinary people, but God used them. Although we are small today, may we be like them and share the gospel. And since you have learned from the Prophecy Class, you should put it to good use.
The Book of Acts is not just a history book. It is an invitation — inviting us to take part in God's plan of salvation. Becoming a Christian by grace is not the end; it is the beginning. May we live our whole lives with thankful hearts, follow the example of the apostles, obey the Holy Spirit, and boldly testify about the risen Lord. For I was once an outsider, but now I am part of God's own family. Amen.

Thank God. After returning to Hong Kong this year, I heard from Zhang C-Mo and was moved to get to know a single mother who started her own business. During COVID, she developed a special antibacterial silver-thread technology called "Innotier." She made masks for Church 611. This special fabric can be washed 500 times and still kill viruses and bacteria. These masks were sold at a special price during our Grand mother church anniversary at Hong Kong Green Olive, sharing a message of love and protection.
Mother’s Day is very special at “611 Bread of Life Christian Church.” Our Grand mother church was born on Mother’s Day in 2001. Pei Nan C-Mo’s book “I Want to Be a C-Mo” explains how being a “mother of the church” can be rich and beautiful, bringing fresh life to the church. At 611, the word “C-Mo” is not just a pastor’s wife. It means “mother of the church,” and we deeply respect that.
We also emphasize the importance of mothers in every family. This year’s Mother’s Day service was special. I saw young people at the Saturday ANEW service stand on stage and give thanks for their mothers. On behalf of everyone at “Favor 611,” I also gave thanks and blessings at the “Wonderful 611” mother church’s Mother’s Day service.
This year, I celebrated Mother’s Day in Hong Kong with a group of young moms in my family. While chatting, I learned how bravely they stand up to protect their children, without fear.
But if you come from a family without a mother, that is deeply painful. Today, we receive the church as having both a father and a mother. So for anyone who has lost their physical parents on earth, you can have hope and find a new family in the church.
If you want to understand more about this motherly heart, watch the eight-episode series “Love 611,” made during Hong Kong 611’s 25th anniversary. Topics include: Meeting, Taking Your Place, The Critical Year 2000, Dream, Name, Renewal, C-Mo, and Connection. You can watch freely on YouTube.

Thank God for Hong Kong 611 for hosting so many overseas teams. At this Pearl 2.0 conference, those who were once grains of sand, enveloped by the oyster and transformed into pearls, have already begun to nurture new pearls. In every testimony, these “new pearls” shared the many hardships in their lives. By worldly standards, there would only be one outcome—bad results. The only difference would be how severe the situation becomes before it explodes and spirals out of control. Yet, just when everyone felt concerned for them, these new pearls shone forth… radiating with brilliance.
However, as I personally reflect, I feel a sense of uneasiness. Clearly, I myself cannot become that “mother oyster”—it is simply too difficult. Indeed, this is not something humanly possible. Behind it all is God’s kindness. We still believe that when a person is in God’s hands, we only need to be gentle and humble companions, offering a little support when needed.
In recent years, within 611, we often speak about the Tree of Life—being a Tree of Life, carrying the atmosphere and fragrance of the Tree of Life, and so on. Simply put, our church is one that deals with life. This time, I saw a key highlight: in the beginning, God said it is not good for man to be alone, so He made a helper (a wife) for him. But then, how can a husband help the one who is meant to be his helper? (A husband can’t help the husband’s helper.) Therefore, the “restoration of women” becomes necessary. The Holy Spirit searches all things. In line with Mother’s Day, our Sunday services will launch a new series on the “Restoration of Women.” Together, we will enter into shepherding through the Tree of Life, responding also to the Favor611 life theme of Pearl 2.0.

Looking back to December 2016, Stella C-mo and I had just graduated from 611 Leadership institutes . We stayed at the 611 headquarters to continue learning and serving as trainees. In 2017, by God’s grace, we joined the Pearl Conference for the first time and received the anointing. Its full name is the International Pastors and Marketplace Leaders Revival Conference — Pearl.
Now, nine years later, Favor 611 has become an overseas granddaughter church and a live-stream learning center in Sydney. This time, a group of 10 of us—co-workers, students, and church members—are returning to our spiritual mother (clam) church to attend the Pearl 2.0 Conference together. We are truly filled with joy beyond expectation and with thankful hearts. In the coming days, we pray to receive the “Pearl” anointing. When we return, we will share more with you and reflect together on what we have received.
During this trip, we will also stay a little longer to spend time with family. On behalf of everyone, we send our greetings to our mother church, Wonderful 611, and pray for peace upon Pastor Kam Wah and Pastor Louisa C-mo. We also bless the new church building project to go smoothly.
We thank all the co-workers who are staying and serving faithfully. May God personally protect and lead you. We bless all brothers and sisters with good health. To the students attending Prophetic Section 1—keep going with perseverance. We especially remember the parents of the children’s army for your passionate involvement, our dear friends in the Glory Worship Service, the faithful worship team, and the toddlers and parents in BB Group as they grow with joy. May every worship service be filled with God’s presence. Thank you also to all the ushers and serving volunteers.
Finally, we wish all of you a blessed Mother’s Day. May all mothers be loved by their husbands and honored by their children.
We will return to Sydney on Friday night, 22 May. See you all soon 🤗

God will make a way ;當時機出現,就跟隨神的恩膏,不猶豫、不退後;而在每一個實際的環境,勇敢發揮我們的影響力,結出豐盛果子。
Since 22/3, our Sunday service has started the “Eden Series.” How have you applied those weeks’s message in your daily life? Let us review together.
From God’s design of surrounding the Garden of Eden with four rivers, Favor611 is to receive this direction—to become a spiritual Eden and experience these four kinds of power: the Pishon River (increase), the Gihon River (breakthrough), the Tigris River (speed), and the Euphrates River (abundance). We should actively pay attention to the resources around us and make good use of them. When facing difficulties, we still believe that God will make a way for us. When the opportunity comes, follow God’s anointing without hesitation or turning back. In every real situation, be bold to use our influence and bear abundant fruit.
Then on 29/3, we spoke about rebuilding the Eden of marriage—taking back your little Eden. God originally designed marriage so that the husband would tend and keep it, and the wife would be a suitable helper. But when the voice of the serpent came in, Eden became a battlefield—Eve blurred God’s word, and Adam avoided responsibility and shifted blame, resulting in conflict and hurt. Today, we choose to return to God’s original plan and rebuild Eden together with our spouse: the husband changes from one who avoids responsibility to one who takes responsibility and exercises authority to protect; the wife changes from one who complains to one who completes, living out the glory of being a helper. Remember, the real enemy is the devil—do not agree with his voice.
Then on 12/4, we looked at the first generation born to Adam and Eve, to recover the blessing of God’s presence—turning from self-centeredness to calling on God. The story of Cain and Abel reminds us that what God values is not the offering itself, but the heart behind it. To follow the flesh leads to death, but to follow the Spirit brings life and peace. The way to turn things around is in 2 Chronicles 7:14: humble ourselves, pray, seek God’s face, and turn from wicked ways. For curses to become blessings, there is no shortcut—we must turn back to God.
Last week, on 19/4, we looked into the genealogy in Genesis and received God’s deep and wide grace through the generations. Which lineage will you choose? There are two lineages on earth: the line of Cain and the line of Seth. We choose the line of Seth—even though it seems weak, it began to call on the name of the Lord and draw near to God. By the time of Enoch, he walked with God for three hundred years and was taken by God, to be with Him forever. Through Noah, God found a righteous man in his generation and chose him to build the ark before the flood judgment.
Today, when God shines His light on our lives through the Holy Spirit, will we quickly turn from “relying on ourselves” to “calling on God”? And be willing to be fruitful and multiply, physically or spiritually, building a God-fearing family. When we lead one person to Christ and nurture one person to grow, it can gradually extend to the whole family line. Together, with one heart and mind, we rebuild Eden, so that every family that comes to Favor611 may receive God’s deep and abundant grace.
Dear brothers and sisters, we have been reading Ecclesiastes together during morning devotions . We've already finished chapters 1 through 8, and next week we will complete the final four chapters. I am truly grateful for everyone's persistence and for how God's Word is moving among us.
Ecclesiastes opens with this question: "What profit has a man from all his labor under the sun?" To be honest, this isn't just a verse — it's often the cry of our own hearts. We work so hard every day, and sometimes we really ask: what is all this for? The Preacher honestly tells us that many things just repeat themselves, and the things we hold onto so tightly can easily slip away, leaving us with a sense of emptiness.
But please don't lose heart. Ecclesiastes isn't telling us to give up on work. Rather, it helps us see that God allows us to experience toil as a way to shape us. The point isn't how much we accomplish, but whether we come to know God — and ourselves — more deeply in the process.
I especially love the warm reminder in this book: to eat, drink, and find satisfaction in our work is a gift from God. In other words, true contentment doesn't have to wait for some future "moment of success." It is available today, right here in what God has already given us. Are we willing to pause, to simply give thanks, and to receive?
Of course, our mouths and hearts often wander away from God. We talk too much, think too much, and end up even more exhausted. But the Preacher brings us back to a very simple starting point: "Fear God." That sounds simple, yet it is the heart of the whole book. When we are willing to step back and admit that God's ways are beyond us — that some situations are beyond our control — a kind of rest begins to grow in our hearts.
The truth is, God made us upright, but we have gone our own way. Much of our inner confusion and emptiness doesn't come from our circumstances, but from drifting away from God's original purpose for us. True wisdom is not the ability to explain everything, but the choice to fear and trust God even when we don't understand. Such a person may not have a perfect life on the outside, but on the inside, they are secure.
Finally, I want to share a word of thanks. Over the past two months, our daughter has been unwell, and Stella and I have experienced many ups and downs. Thank you so much for praying for us. She is gradually getting better now, and we are learning to rest in God. As Ecclesiastes says, there is a time for everything. So we will walk through each day at ease, quietly waiting for the God who holds all time in His hands.
May the Lord help us, in our busy lives, to simply fear Him and quietly receive the joy He has already given us.

The Easter school holidays were packed with many meaningful events — the Good Friday outdoor baptism, the Passover celebration night, watching the large-scale JESUS stage film by Sight & Sound, and the Family Fun Run on Saturday. But what made C-mo and me the happiest was seeing several young people come back to church for morning devotions during their school break. Their hunger for God reminded us of something deeper…
In our recent morning devotions , we have been reading the Old Testament book of Ecclesiastes for three weeks in a row. Starting from the words, “The words of the Teacher, son of David, king in Jerusalem…”, we have been reflecting on how to face life’s seasons and the repeated cycles we often encounter. If all our labor under the sun is “vanity,” should we still toil? When we can’t keep the results of our efforts forever, and take nothing with us when we go, why does the Teacher still say it is good to enjoy our work? As we go through the book chapter by chapter, we continue to seek what God wants to remind us about the meaning of life. Seeing young university students come early to light the lamps together during morning devotions has deeply encouraged and comforted our co-workers — it is truly the hand of God at work.
When I quiet down and recall how Stella C-mo has been thoughtfully exploring God’s creation and redemption through Genesis, I’m thankful that the mother church’s Pastor Louisa has set the spiritual tone for our Sunday services by beginning the Garden of Eden Series. Together, we are uncovering this spiritual treasure: to build a fruitful, breakthrough-filled, and life-giving “Eden-type” church; to rebuild families into “homes after God’s own heart” as in Eden; and to open the way back to a blessed Eden life, where every brother and sister becomes a tree of life to their generation. Each day, we make time to respond to the Lord who delights in giving us revelation. As we start with praying in tongues, fruit will surely come.

God is so good — when we are willing, He provides!
At the beginning of this year, a church member asked when the next baptism would be held. So, we started planning and decided to include it in our Easter holiday program. That’s how we set our Church Outdoor Day on 3 April 2026 at Putney Park, where we would have a beach activity and a baptism.
It had only been four months since the last baptism at the church camp on 13 December 2025, when eight brothers and sisters were baptized. The night before this new baptism (2 April), during our Passover celebration, another person came forward, confirming their desire to be baptized as well. My heart was full of gratitude — God truly is good. When we are willing to act, He provides abundantly. The number of candidates doubled from one to two!
But God’s grace didn’t stop there. On the baptism day, after worship, the Holy Spirit moved me to ask who among us had not yet been baptized, before I even explained what baptism means. After sharing about faith and baptism, we prepared for the two participants — Bernice and Ting Ting (who decided to join after her husband’s blessing during Passover). At that moment, Ashley and Harvey’s parents also stood up and said they wanted to be baptized too! From zero to one, and then from one to five — “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved.” Just like that, it happened!
We give thanks again for God’s wonderful grace and mercy. May the five new members baptized by sprinkling be kept in the Lord’s hands, growing in faith and living out His promises.
In this troubled world, the urgency to spread the gospel grows stronger. Dear brothers and sisters, when we take action, God blesses our work. Every invitation we make will receive a response. In Deep and Wide 2026, let us experience God’s work together — bringing our family and friends to the Lord and letting Him move among us.
As I come to the final message on the seven churches in Revelation, one repeated sentence stands out to me: “I know your deeds.” It reminds me that God is always watching us — our way of life, the values we choose, and how faithful we are to Him.
The name Laodicea in Greek means “the rights of the people.” When most people only care about their own interests or follow human opinions rather than the guidance of the Holy Spirit, things easily go off track. That is why John wrote, “You say, ‘I am rich; I have everything I need,’ but you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked.”
In the world’s view, people are only corrected when they make mistakes, but that is not how God works. As it says in Revelation 3:19, “Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline.” At Favor 611, the Holy Spirit is leading us to walk with God in the flow of Eden. Let us reflect together, lay down our pride and self-satisfaction, accept God’s loving correction, and keep trusting Him through trials.
It is not the time to stay still or live only by worldly ways — it is time to move and act!
Today, God is already knocking at the door. Let us awaken one another from spiritual sleep and become passionate followers of God again, like a renewed Laodicean church. May Paul’s words in Romans 12:11 encourage us all: “Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.”
As Favor 611 steps into its eighth year, I once again think about the church in Philadelphia described in Revelation—the church that received no rebuke from the Lord. Reading John's words, I am deeply moved to see how firm and close our relationship with Jesus really is.
“The One who holds the key of David…”—the Lord who holds the ultimate key to heaven and all of history—stands beside you and says:
“I know your strength is small. I have seen you obey Me on the journey, though you have also stumbled many times. When Satan tries to whisper, ‘See how weak you are! How could God still love you?’—I feel your pain. Yet you have not turned away from Me; you still believe that I love you. Therefore, the door that leads you into My presence will always remain open. I will cause Satan to fall before you.”
You are faithfully holding on to My word. Because of this endurance, you will not face the trials that will come upon the world. I am coming soon. Hold tightly to all that I have already given you, and do not strive for what I have not granted, so that no one can take away your crown.
I have chosen you to be a pillar in the temple of God—firm and unmoved. Everything in heaven and on earth belongs to God. Stand guard over the way of the church so that the enemy cannot destroy it.
The Kingdom of God has an infinite horizon. May our Favor 611 become like the faithful people of Philadelphia—unshakable and steadfast in the Lord.
Next week: Let’s talk about the Laodiceans who restore their passion.

On the Eve of Our 7th Anniversary Celebration⋯⋯
From our 6th to our 7th anniversary — what has God done in Favor 611 ? Let’s begin with the prophecies.
In March 2025, Pastor Fiona prophesied that God is watching over “Favor 611 ” We will rise from battles into victory! Stella C-Mo will be a bride-warrior, standing strong to build the church and the team. Pastor Joe will be a teacher of the Word, generous and financially blessed. Young people will be raised up, new worship services will begin, and God will smile on “Favor 611 .” Lives will be transformed, anointing will overflow, and prayers will grow powerful !
In August 2025, Pastor Debby shared a prophecy of three jars of oil pouring into Favor 611 — bringing healing, joy, and renewed life! Families will be restored, broken relationships between generations will be mended. Pastor Joe and Stella C-Mo will hold God’s staff to defeat the enemy and raise up many young leaders.
How has God led Favor 611 this past year ?
Through His Word!
Over the past 12 months, our morning devotions has read ten books of the Bible — Psalms, Colossians, Proverbs, Ezra, 1 & 2 Corinthians, 2 Chronicles, Mark, Esther, and Revelation.
We read chapter by chapter, and the Holy Spirit gives us fresh manna every morning — rich spiritual food and new revelations from God each day!
Our Sunday sermon series have covered:
1. Pleasing God
2. Spiritual Weapons
3. Daniel in the Workplace
4. Serving and Maturing
5. From Defeat to Victory – Esther
These messages have touched on loving God, loving people, loving the church, and growing in faith, work, and family relationships.
On Saturdays, we began the ANEW bilingual (English–Chinese) service alongside our youth service. Friday mornings now have the Glory Service for all ages. Our children’s ministry, Little Soldiers for Christ, has a new flow, and Haha Seedlings welcomes babies and toddlers (8 months to 3 years) with fun parent–child activities.
During this time, we also:
- Held a 40-day fast and prayer (21 July–29 August 2025)
- Hosted our first Three-Generation Couples Camp (26–28 October 2025)
- Launched our first Healing and Deleverance
Camp (6–7 March 2026)
Looking back, every prophecy has come true — we can see God’s rich provision at this 7th anniversary!
Dear brothers and sisters, have you imagined what you will be like seven years from now?
I surely never imagined that seven years ago, God would give Stella and me such strength to follow Him — walking step by step with everyone in Favor 611. His works are truly deep and wide!
Today, as we step into our 8th year, let’s begin another journey of dreams for the Lord.
Let’s walk together, serve together, hold each other up — and under our mother church Wonderful 611 covering, bravely move forward to receive all that He has prepared for Favor 611 !

As I continued toward Sardis, the road was steep and rough through the mountains. I knew it was an ancient city with a glorious past. Yet because it trusted in its natural defenses, it became careless, and the Persian king Cyrus was able to enter and conquer it. I felt this also reflects the condition of the people of Sardis today.
Along the road I saw very few travelers. After a long while, I finally saw a small group of people, as if this were a place no one would visit. At last I saw someone who looked like an elderly man. He was surprised to see me and asked why I had come. I smiled gently and said I had come to visit Sardis.
He replied, “Looking for me?”
His words brought me back to our first meeting long ago. As a young man, he listened attentively. Whenever he did not understand what he should do, he would ask questions. When he understood, he was filled with joy, and he was willing to obey and repent where needed.
But this time, when we met again, he was silent. His appearance was aged, and I understood in my heart. I told him that the purpose of this visit was to give him new strength again.
At the beginning, what you understood was limited, and what you could do was also limited. But as the days passed, if nothing seemed to need changing, you remained where you were yesterday. Yet as you grow and as circumstances change, relationships become more complex. If you think, “I already understand this and that,” you must realize that such understanding belongs only to the early stage of life and is not enough to face everything.
Your spirit was once young and tender. You must return to draw near to me every day. Is not your name “Revived Strength”?
Do not stay only at the starting point, covered with dust and lifeless. With me there is living truth. As you grow older and face different issues in life, many new thoughts still need to be renewed.
I know you worry that worldly values will influence the city of Sardis. But if there is only outward strength and empty formality, even if you manage to maintain the appearance of a faithful life, you will become dry and your spirit will grow lazy. Remember this: although the world keeps changing, I will give you wisdom—just as when you first knew me. Keep a longing heart. To truly see through all things, your mind must be renewed. Do not become dull and hardened. Holding the truth only in form is not enough.
Those who once sought the truth together with you often asked me questions. I know they stand firm. So do not limit yourself. When you no longer feel the spiritual strength within you, it is time to stop and return to me—to know me more deeply, my Father, and the Holy Spirit given to every citizen of the Kingdom.
Even Roman law removes the citizenship of those who commit serious crimes. How much higher are the standards for the citizens of Heaven. Yet sincere confession and true repentance carry the promise that a citizen of Heaven will remain written in the Book of Life.
May the brothers and sisters of “Favor” always renew their minds, serve with living joy, and walk together with the Lord.

Thyatira — Do Not Indulge Yourself, But Learn to Discern Between True Love and Spoiled Affection!
After encouraging the believers in Pergamum to stand firm and find their mission in the Lord, my journey now takes me east to Thyatira.
The name Thyatira comes from Greek, meaning “daughter.”
From afar, the city glitters like gold—rich and lively, a picture of prosperity. The people here are skilled in bronze work: strong yet delicate, simple yet beautiful. Their ornate streets and finely crafted vessels show the remarkable talent that God has placed among them. Truly, God has poured His wisdom and grace upon this city’s people.
Walking through its lanes, the royal colour of purple stands out—a mark of dignity and elegance. The craftsmanship in leather and pottery is also outstanding. It feels as though this city gives birth to people of character, style, and intelligence—unique and full of grace.
O Thyatira! You are lovely from your youth—diligent, thoughtful, and refined. You draw affection easily; people wish to protect you, whether at work or at rest. Yet too much indulgence has made you restless and willful. Without noticing, you have been drawn in by those with impure motives. They flatter you, pulling you quietly away from truth. They invite you to live for pleasure, to chase desires that dishonour your soul. These deceivers will one day face God’s judgment for their sins.
Dear one, return to be among “the rest”—those who have remained pure and faithful from the beginning. Though mocked or left alone, they have held fast to genuine faith, refusing to compromise with the world or be tempted by false gain. God will renew their vision and fill them with creative strength to rise above selfish powers.
Remember Lydia, the woman from Thyatira whom Paul met in Philippi She is your true example—faithful, wise, and generous, a woman who opened her heart and her home to the Lord.
Brothers and sisters, may the message to the church in Thyatira teach us this: in love, do not only seek comfort and warmth, but also learn to guard against the trap of indulgence and self-pleasing.
Next week, we will reflect on the people of Sardis—those whose names are written in the Book of Life. ,
Every week, the first person who reads my “Pastor’s Word” is my daughter, Donna. When I asked her what she thought about last week’s message, she said honestly, “This one felt harder to grasp. Which part of Smyrna’s story really shows what it means to follow Jesus?”
If Ephesus represents a young believer—earnest and full of energy—then Smyrna speaks of a faithful disciple who has walked through trials and learned to stand firm. When we listen to Smyrna’s story, we are reminded that in the midst of suffering, we can still choose a simple life, say no to temptation, stay humble, and keep our feet steady on the path of faith. When we live this way, the Lord cares for us, and we find a joy that the world cannot take away. Smyrna’s journey is just as one season along the road of following Christ. Let’s now continue to the next stop—Pergamon, a place filled with tests and challenges.
Traveling north from Smyrna, less than two hours away, lies the ancient city of Pergamon—a center of politics, learning, healing, and religion, once the capital of the Roman province of Asia. In its glory days, it was a city of great allure, dazzling and dangerous at the same time.
There, emperor worship ruled, and idols filled the temples. Tradition tells us that Antipas, a disciple of the Apostle John and the first bishop of Pergamon’s church, was martyred for preaching Christ faithfully. His courage raises a question for us: what gives believers the strength to stay true to the Lord amid such powerful opposition?
The Lord’s message is clear: “Do not be afraid.” Even when darkness seems to rule the world and voices around us say, “You have no power,” God’s Word reminds us that we are never without hope. Satan hides behind the glamour of culture, twisting truth and tempting hearts to compromise—blending the holy with the unclean, drawing people toward idolatry, impurity, and self-indulgence. To walk faithfully through such a world, we must cling to God’s Word with unwavering love. His Word is a double-edged sword—it cuts through every disguise and half-truth. Let Scripture remain our final standard, for God’s judgment is always righteous and sure.
So even when the world feels as perilous as Pergamon, let us remember that God is still shaping brave hearts in His people. He delights in children who carry a spirit of holy adventure—ready to seek His perfect plan, live out the identity He designed uniquely for them, and walk in the beauty of a life that truly “fits” His purpose. As we hold fast to our faith, He promises to give us the hidden manna of His daily provision and the white stone of His intimate approval.
And never forget: Christ is sanctifying His church, cleansing her by the washing of water through His Word, making her beautiful and holy before Him.
Next week, we will reflect on Thyatira — True Love and Over-Protective Love.
While I was quietly praying for the young believer in Ephesus, asking God to help him return to his first love, the Holy Spirit seemed to carry me to the glorious throne in heaven. There I saw two great groups of people: on one side were the tribes of Israel, and on the other side was a countless crowd dressed in white. Suddenly, I noticed a familiar face. It was Smyrna, the one whom Jesus told John to write to among the seven churches in Revelation.
Smyrna grew up in a very old city. The city was destroyed around 600 BC, but about 300 years later the Greeks rebuilt it. Because it had a good harbour and was a traffic hub, trade became very strong, and people called it “the crown of Asia.” Later, an earthquake in AD 178 damaged the city badly, but it was rebuilt again under Roman rule. Today, the Ancient Agora of Smyrna, as part of the “Historical Port City of Izmir,” is on UNESCO’s World Heritage Tentative List. Its long history seems to show that the people who lived there had a strong spirit that could “die and rise again.”
I asked him, “Smyrna, how did you overcome?” He answered that in his time the church faced strong religious persecution. Life was very poor, their belongings were taken away, and their meetings were betrayed by people who called themselves fellow Jews but were actually from the “synagogue of Satan.” Believers could be arrested and put into prison at any time.
He said, “Even then, I was not afraid of hardship or poverty. My spirit was rich. I lived a simple life, and that made my heart light and free. When I received the encouraging letter from old John, I decided to stay faithful to the Lord until death. I would not fear people’s lies or insults. I held firmly to His word and believed that the Lord would clear my name.”
“In the end, the heavy trials passed, the suffering stopped, and I passed the test. I received the crown of life, the highest honour. I escaped the second death and the judgment of being separated from God forever. Now I can stand here in white, because the blood of the Lamb has washed away my sins and made my robe clean. From now on, under God’s shelter, I will never hunger or thirst again. The sun and the burning heat cannot harm me. God’s word is like a spring of living water that refreshes my life. God Himself has wiped away all my tears. In front of me is a strong and bright spiritual road that leads straight into eternity.”
Next time, we will visit Pergamum, a place full of danger and spiritual testing.

Opening Deep and Wide 2026 — Reflections from the Church in Ephesus
As we begin our new year’s theme, Deep and Wide 2026: Faith and Life, our morning devotion led us to read from the Book of Revelation — the letters to the seven churches. The Holy Spirit deeply moved my heart, revealing to me a journey of walking closely with the Lord, one step at a time.
It begins with someone full of talent and joy — a young man brimming with dreams, energy, and passion. He’s charming, sincere, and ready to take on life. He cares about what’s happening around him and works hard with patience and integrity. He’s not quick-tempered but brave enough to confront hypocrisy. With a clear vision burning in his heart, he presses on toward his goal with unstoppable strength, making his family proud and inspiring those around him.
But as time passed, something changed. The days began to slip by — sometimes too fast, sometimes painfully slow. He started feeling lost inside. The pressure grew, and without noticing, his heart cooled down. The passion he once had in serving the Lord faded away. I asked the Holy Spirit, “Why does this happen?” And the Spirit gently showed me this truth: When people become focused only on their achievements or on doing what seems “right” in others’ eyes, they easily lose sight of the journey itself. Life turns into a list of results instead of a path of love. Slowly, the direction shifts — not all at once, but little by little. When that happens, we miss the priceless opportunity to truly connect with others. Ministry can never replace genuine love. The praise of the world is short-lived, but the fruit that grows out of heartfelt relationships — even through tears — is what God truly blesses us with.
That kind of life fills our hearts with peace and joy.

By the end of 2025, Favor 611 has built a fairly complete framework. From babies who are just learning to feed, to our senior members with silver hair, everyone in the family of Favor is being cared for and pastored as they grow. Even our Life Point in New Zealand gathers every Sunday. Through morning devotion , online Bible classes, and by exploring a unique path of growth, two faithful small group leaders share God’s provision in season. God is truly guiding us step by step.
As we enter “Deep and Wide 2026,” we are full of hope for the future, and at the same time reminded to strengthen and expand what has already been built. John 10:10 tells us:
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I (Jesus) have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
Jesus walks with us as we face spiritual battles.
The Holy Spirit is also leading us into the flow of the Book of Esther and Purim. Together, we reflect again: How do I communicate with others? Are our relationships shallow or deep? We are invited to touch our inner world and to experience the powerful impact of putting relationship first, before ministry.
To go deeper and wider means to dig within the foundation we already have, to discover more kinds of hidden treasures—better in quality and richer in abundance—so that we may bless others and align more closely with God’s heart in the areas of service He has entrusted to us.
For those who have signed up for the “Healing 1” training course, may you gain a deeper understanding of what affects the healthy growth of our spiritual life, remove the hidden impurities within, receive God’s precious promises, and be restored to the beauty of God’s original creation.

Today’s Sunday service is the last message in the Growing to Maturity series.
At the beginning, we started from the view of an individual. We thank God for Janice, who shared the first message and opened this theme. In the past, she often wondered why pastoral care always involved eating with group members. She thought teaching the Bible and praying should be enough. But today, Janice has broken through her old way of thinking. Her focus has moved from “I” to “We.” Her ministry is no longer task-focused but people-focused. When her group meets, she often opens her home and shares meals with members. If we connect this with the Deep and Wide 2026 theme, this is a real and measurable change.
After that, brothers and sisters spent three days and two nights together at the church camp. Through the “Sim Life” experience, everyone reflected on life from different angles. During that Sunday service, I led everyone to move from an individual view to a family view. We learned that it is not enough to understand with our minds; we must put it into action. The best place to practice is our own family. By living together every day, we learn the different roles in the family. Through interaction and even friction, we grow, improve, and learn to work together. In this way, the warmth of the family increases, and it becomes a family that pleases God.
In the third and fourth messages, Ceci and Paul shared from the perspective of church life. Because of their response to Jesus’ love, people began to join small groups actively, care for new friends, and take part in different church activities. Through interaction, they slowly grew. With selfless giving and sincere service, they experienced a Christ-centered life. Through serving in many different ways, we grow more mature. Together with the fifth message just shared, the eleven core values of 611 helped everyone in a very practical way. In a shaking world, we can stand firm and anchor our lives on a strong spiritual foundation. Today, in this final message, we are challenged to all receive the blessed life God has promised and to pass it on from generation to generation.
Looking back at the six messages in the Growing to Maturity series, shared from December 2025 to January 2026, they were delivered by me and five co-workers. Through our different life stories, we shared how each of us changed from different low points. Without us even noticing, God has been leading us together into Deep and Wide 2026. As we support one another, under God’s protection and guidance, we move forward bravely.
Amen.

This week in morning devotion , we read the Book of Esther. It is a story of how the Jewish people were saved during the time of exile under the Medo-Persian Empire. Haman, an official of King Ahasuerus, planned to destroy the Jews, but in the end, the situation was completely reversed. Throughout the whole book of Esther, God’s name is not mentioned even once, yet Haman was destroyed on the very day he had chosen for others. This reminds us that God is the One who saves His people, and His work is truly deep and wide.
Last Sunday, I shared a message titled “The Confidence of Deep and wide in 2026.” From Psalm 8, we learned how great and glorious our God is—the Lord of heaven. By understanding the fall of the archangel Lucifer, we can better see God’s purpose for our lives, we who are like babies still needing milk, in His work of creation and salvation. But how can we have this foundation to show God’s glory and testify against Satan’s lies? Are we not all the same, often filled with pride, greed, rebellion, and unbelief?
After the service, some brothers and sisters asked me how we can practise “depth and breadth” in this year.
First, we must understand that “depth and breadth” describe something that can be measured—it has depth and it has width. In the same way, spiritual depth and breadth can also be seen.
For example:
• How strong is your desire for God’s Word? Do you join morning prayer every day, or only once in a while?
• When others offend you, do you react with revenge right away, or do you respond like Jesus, obeying the Father and choosing love first?
• In marriage, is your trust easily shaken by unproven rumours?
• In how you use your time, do you often put your own satisfaction first?
All these are real, visible, and measurable signs of “depth and breadth.”
Just as a baby needs milk every day to grow healthy, our spiritual life also needs God’s Word as spiritual food. We admit that our thoughts can easily go off track and that our strength is small, so we must often rely on the Holy Spirit’s reminder and guidance. But as we grow, do we begin to point fingers at others, think too highly of ourselves, look down on God’s Word, and stop praying and seeking Him? If so, we can easily fall into the traps of pride and lies, and stand on the wrong spiritual side.
Yet how wide is God’s love! Jesus paid the price for the sins of the world, making us new creations, so that we can live godly lives in Him and build families centred on God’s love. What 611 speaks of as “depth and breadth” is a call to us: not to rely on ourselves, but to depend on God in everything and stay connected to Him. Do not judge or criticise. Do not live under the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Instead, build one another up, continue to desire, believe, follow, and fully rely on God. As we walk this way each day, we will surely experience God’s deep and wide wisdom and power being wonderfully revealed in our lives.

While many brothers and sisters were travelling, my son Jackson and his wife Heikai came back to visit C-Mo and me, bringing our 21-month-old grandson, Asher. They both serve as co-workers in the youth ministry at our grandmother church. This time, they were also able to help as English interpreters at our Anew joint service. In the interpretation room, they joyfully served together with English-speaking young people, without any barriers. After the service, they even spent another hour talking with them, and later shared some very valuable feedback with me.
The last time they visited was when Asher had just turned one. I was amazed that in only ten months, his memory, speech, and ability to communicate have grown so much. Watching him play with a jelly sticker album, I noticed not only how strong and flexible his fingers are, but also how carefully his eyes can recognise shapes. At first, he could only peel the stickers off and place them aside. But after watching Ceci teach her daughter just once, he learned to try putting the stickers back in the correct places. When he softly read English words to himself, I translated them into Mandarin and read them to him. He smiled happily and followed along. His love for learning and his quick imitation truly amazed me.
This reminded me that we are humans created and redeemed by God. When we turn back and become like children, leaving behind the world’s old frameworks, we do not need to fear the AI generation. As we together receive the vision of “Deep and Wide 2026,” we are reminded again of our identity: created in God’s image, second only to Him, with the Holy Spirit dwelling in us at all times. As long as we humbly hold on to this identity and live it out in obedience, changes in the external world will not shake our steps.
Thank God for the morning devotions at 611 Bread of Life Church. Every day, God’s Word becomes a light on our path and a lamp for our feet. With courage, we will explore and experience a 2026 that is both deep and wide, and after launching into 2025, continue moving toward the peak of life.
This week, as we move from 2025 into 2026, God has given us two passages from the Gospel of Mark. The first is: “Be on your guard; I have told you everything ahead of time.” (Mark 13:23) The second is: “Jesus said to his disciples, ‘You will all fall away, for it is written: “I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.” But after I rise, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.’” (Mark 14:27-28)
In this new year, even before we know what will happen, it is as if God is telling us in advance: be watchful, be careful not to fall. But at the same time, just as Jesus told his disciples, after He rises, He will be waiting for all His followers in “Galilee.”
For us today, we too are called to receive a spiritual Galilee. This is not just a physical place, but the starting point of transformation in every believer’s life. It is where we build a deep relationship with Jesus, learn the truths of His kingdom, witness God’s kingdom coming, and lay a firm foundation for the mission that follows.
During the New Moon Prayer Meeting on January 1, 2026, I drew a card with God’s message for us: Psalm 23:2-3. I knew then how much God loves each one of you—every brother and sister, every committed volunteer and co-worker. In this new year, let’s receive this together:
“He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for His name’s sake.”
And when we received the New Year blessing from our mother church, Wonderful 611:
“In 2026, God will give you the key to every door under the tree of life.”
I am even more certain that Favor 611 will be your “spiritual Galilee.”
